High Fashion at Highgate Cemetery
My friend Caroline and I left the beaten path and ventured off the grid in London when we attempted to locate Highgate Cemetery in Highgate Village north of London.
True to form in London it was drizzling if not full out raining. We got off at the guide book suggested tube stop, which turned out to be a big mistake. We ended up asking for directions at a couple of pubs where all afternoon drunkards had different ideas of the location of the cemetery, at one bakery (no, I dd not buy anything I swear), at an antique shop and finally at a local cheese shop. That is when it happened. I got stuck in the narrow doorway with supermodel Kate Moss.
